Materials from the Breakout Sessions
Following the morning plenary sessions, participants at the November 10 "Education Reform in New England" conference attended breakout sessions. Chief state school officers or their designees attended a Commissioners’ Roundtable (no notes were recorded). Other participants joined discussions on the four reform priorities, led by national experts and facilitated by staff of the New England Comprehensive Center and collaborating institutions. Breakout sessions covered Data Systems, Effective Leaders and Teachers, Standards and Assessments, and Struggling Schools.
